SS Daytona with WG dial
Lets hear what you guys think of altering an original manufactured Rolex. I am slowly leaning towards this idea.

I certainly like this concept more than the notion of PVD!
There are so many great dials...a shame you only get black or white with the SS Daytonas - given the outrageous prices. |

As long as you are not claiming your watch to be something that it is not............I am ALL for it
Love the panda dial or the Meteorite dial

I would if I wanted to....but, as said previously, as long as it is not described as something that it isn't.

I am more of a purist and would not make a dial change. I do know a guy who posts here from time to time that put the silver dial from a WG Daytona on his SS version. He also put on the red hands. Just not my thing. I like original.

I am patiently waiting to find the panda arab dial. The white dial is awesome but the panda will take off the watch

I love the WG Daytona's dial. I've secretly wished that Rolex would one day use that dial on the SS version. So I can appreciate why you would want to do that. So I say, go for it!

don't know if it "enhances" the look of the SS daytonas, since the white and black dials are quite nice, but, i am definitely a fan of the WG dial, so, if you like it, go for it. the dial is original rolex, so, i don't think it's a "frankenwatch" or anything dramatic like that.

First of all, I cannot think of any other modification I would make to a Rolex from the original.
HOWEVER, this is the one modification I would make. I think it looks absolutely stunning. Go for it! |

always thought the end of the road for "tuning" is the original,
but i have to say looking at some pics, WG dial on SS looks stunning ;) any idea how much the whole job costs? (acquiring dials + making the switch) |

Didn't think it would make that much of a difference...............till I saw one in person. Hell yes, I'd do it.
