incoming pen gifts
For my wife a Parker Premium silver ballpoint. And for my 10 year old son, a Faber-Castell brown pearwood 1.4 led size mechanical pencil.

This forum gave me the "pen gift" idea. Fo my son's recent 10th birthday I gave him some Hardy Boys books. Now for Christmas he will get the mechanical pencil. Reading and writing is the theme here. My late father used to say, "you can choose your friends but you can't choose your relatives". So, my son is stuck getting gifts he may not want, but that I want to give him.

Great gifts
I just got a pen gift for myself, so I'll give it to my sister and she or my mum can give it to me tomorrow for Christmas. Too nice I can't believe I waited so long get this pen. I'm going to buy 20 of them and give them away here as giveaways. They are awesome and the company is good too, you guys will never guess who it is.....

How about a hint or two ? For example, is your giveaway pen a fountain, or ballpoint, rollerball ?

No, not that pen.
This pen has a history kind of similar to Rolex in some ways.

No not Caran de Arche....
The pen is metal. The founder has a passion for accuracy and like Rolex watches were strapped to a person who swam the English Channel this pen is noted for a remarkable achievement too.

I had a cross many years ago, it was my father's I believe. I am not a fan of that brand.
Parkers are good, but this new pen I have it great but it isn't a Parker.
