Can a counterfeiter create a fake that weighs the same as the real Platinum DD

My watch is currently at the service center for authentication and I hope all goes well. It does weigh 220 grams which is what it should weigh. I'm just curious if the Folexers can create a fake that weighs the same? It would be hard to replicate the weight of platinum, no?

I have no intention on discussing that, just wonder if weight of platinum can be replicated by other metals in watchmaking.

What would prevent a faker from using platinum?

If it was Tungsten it would be worth more than the Platinum even if just to reflect the value of the equipment that made it.

In 1996 I almost bought a fake breitling that had a brass weight inside the case behind the movement that gave it the correct weight. Good thing I took the case back off to verify the movement.

They mightn't have tools to make platinum bracelets.
