Forget digital all together as that just takes the fun out of it.

What complications do you find most useful, which do you desire most
from a watch you wear on a regular basis?

Myself my favorite complications for real use are the Date and a Chrono. A GMT hand is a big bonus as well.

I need the date non stop (yes it doesn't matter how many times a day I write the date I still check my watch to ensure the date before I write it every time).

I never really was a chrono guy but in the past year or so I have really learned to appreciate a chrono, I never realized how much I really do time stuff before. I have a couple 30 minute chronos and overall find them a tease, I just need the ability to easily time more than 30 minutes.

GMT hand, a great function for when traveling! One of my favorite watches to travel with is my IWC Ti Aquatimer Chrono, I love the chrono, the inner rotating dive bezel and the day/date on the dial if it had a GMT hand I think it would be the perfect watch! As I do not travel a ton the GMT complication is towards the bottom of my wants for real world use but still is important.

Moon phase, power reserve, leap year indicator etc are all nice complications but those three are the ones I most appreciate while the rest fall more into the novelty group for my wants and needs.

If I traveled more I think I would also add an alarm to the list of complications but I do not know if Id ever find something I liked (mechanical) with date, chrono, gmt hand and alarm! Even if there is a watch with all of that I doubt price would be something in my range and I also doubt it would be a tough enough watch for my wants in a travel watch.

I really miss the date when I don a watch without it. I don't have a need for chronos. They are rather sporty looking on select watches. I just acquired a Breitling and elected for a non-chrono.

A triple date moonphase would be complication enough for me.

I like simple watches; just a date is all I need for daily wear. Too much clutter makes it difficult for me to tell the time.

All of 'em: Flyback Chronograph, Moonphase, Perpetual Calendar (month, day, date, 4 digit year) - essentially an IWC Grand Complication Perpetual Chronograph Moonphase (now that's a mouthful) ;) I've got my eye on at least one of these as I think they really are marvels of horological engineering, especially when you consider they're not in need of adjustment (for moonphase, calendar nor 4 digit year) through year 2500 with the exception of 2100 when leap year's being skipped. They also have a "quickset" feature controlled through the crown unlike most others that have as many complications. YMMV

I really like simple and clean dials, so day and date will do.
However, I`m planning to buy watch with Valjoux 7751(triple date, moonphase and chronograph) one day, just for fun.

Have been helping a lot with health/sickness issues lately, and
I find that chrono functions, ie. timing/stop watch get used
quite a lot. But in general, and in direct contradiction to the
prior, I have a preference for a cleaner dial/look with less
complications.

I really like the world time complication. It let's you know the time around the world at a glance. If you've never seen one, google (image) 'Patek World time'

Annual calendars, perpetual calendars, and those with a moon phase are things I would like to have on one of my watches.

Date is a must. Gmt is the only other complication I usually want in a watch.
