Why would a chronograph need a Gas Escape Valve?

Not Sure what you mean. The Planet Ocean Chrono has a gas escape valve.

ebay seller

NOTE: We do not ship to West Bengal due to issues with Octroi duty. Buyers from West Bengal, Please do not buy this item. In case you send or make payment, it will be refunded minus refund cost, if any.

Reason for not shipping to West Bengal?

Buyers from West Bengal has to provide a Form 50 which has to obtained from the Sales Tax department and send it to the seller before the item shipment. This form needs to be attached to the goods while sending to West Bengal. No buyer till date has sent the from and goods are seized by sales tax and seller has to pay penalties / loose the goods.Till laws in West Bengal are changed, We will not be able to ship any product to West Bengal.

In case anybody should ever require a Form 50, it is available for download from this site!
