Are certain shirt sleeve cuffs bad for a Rolex?

Hello Everyone,

Winter is upon us (at least for most of us in the Northern Hemisphere) and wearing long sleeved shirts or sweaters or jackets is commonplace. I like the fact that such attire protects my watch from accidental nicks and dings.

In my idle time, it crossed my mind whether there are certain types of fabric/material found in shirt cuffs or outer jackets, etc. that may be possible cause for concern. Are there fabrics that create more visible scratches on the bezel and bracelet than others? I realize the watch is mean to be worn and not coddled but it will be ideal to keep those pesky "wear and tear" tell tale signs to a minimum if at all possible.

Yes, no bubble wrap over watches pics.

Regards all and wishing you a great weekend!
