Help I need a clearer ,easy to read FACE

My daughters Tudor Princess Oysterdate FACE needs to be easier to read, As a nurse she is struggling to time pulse and read time..I bought her an easy to read Omega supposedly cleaned, thats losing 2 minutes a day and adjuster is at max speed!
So its back to her nice Princess any suggestions and likely price..I wondered ...new black hands or new black face, or refinish current face, or can a new easy to read face be sourced. It measures at the gold bezel 24mm
I should have asked here first before buying an imposter replacement!
Id appreciate any suggestions and my lady will load a pic later. Thank you

I would think a new watch would be a better and cheaper option,she could keep the tudor for after work,when reading this I was thinking my Sinn would do the job very well.

I'll get flak for this, but nurses need watches for serious business and being easy to read is paramount.

I think a Timex Easy-Reader would be the best bet for work and leave the fancy watches for free-time.

There are many styles and sizes and not just the one I linked to.

Mondaine watches are great pieces!
My wife and I went to Switzerland for our Honeymoon and she bought one for herself (she wears it often, she is a Dr and won't wear her Rolex) and she bought one as a gift for her younger brother who really likes watches. Both of them are VERY happy! I almost wish I bought one while we were there but I ended up buying the MIH watch. I may order one online but I really think I am going to wait till we go back within the next couple years.
You see them EVERYWHERE and as mentioned in all the Swiss Rail stations, they are very clean and easy to read.

The Timex looks like it would be a good choice as well.

I want to find my wife a nice "Pulsemeter" or "Dr's" watch but the majority I see are 40 mm and bigger. I'd really like to find something around 36 mm for her ideally.

More than the dial color it is going to be hard to read quickly no matter what especially as a nurse as lighting is not always ideal since it is a small face, short & thin hands and there is very little lume or contrast in hands and dial.

Yes it is a nice watch but not the optimal watch for
the situation its being used.

Any contrast will make it easier but small = hard to read quickly and accurately.

They cyclops even distorts the minute hand when its on that section of the dial which is an issue for quick accurate use in the medical field.

So, if you are set on using this watch then I suggest you do the best you can and get contrasting dial and hands likely white dial with black hands but it is not going to change things that much, sorry just being honest. For what you will spend on getting a new dial and hands and then having them installed you could get her a mondaine, timex, casio etc just for work and she could keep her Tudor for when out of work.

Edit: I know you want to make the tudor work, but I say keep it as is as a great looking off duty watch. When she is at work, she is at work, so maybe get her another watch, perhaps something more rugged and easy to read, like the others have suggested. Then she will have that awesome tudor and a separate work watch.

I work as a nurse in the ICU (where we have tons of instrumentation - i.e. we can see heart rate as least two different ways). I mostly use my watch to figure out what time it is, how much time I have left on break, etc. For me, a dive watch with timing bezel and date is PERFECT. Plus, she needs a watch that can constantly be splashed by water, bodily fluids, chemicals,etc. And the watch will be banged around on walls, gurneys, beds, and other equipment. I know people will hate to hear this, but I shower with any divers watch I have on after work, gaskets be damned. I know the hot water is hell on the gaskets, blah, blah, blah....but you have to clean off all the nasties as best you can you know? You don't want to bring home an antibiotic resistant flesh eating bacteria back home to your family and friends. My watches will have to deal with more rigorous and frequent servicing I guess.

One thing on the baby g shock (which i think is a good choice), most people say that you need the sweep second hand to time respirations and pulse. I agree it is best, but you can get by on a digital. A digital is also good because of the alarm. A g shock with 4 alarms lives at my bedside. I set them to ring every 10 minutes at wake up time as a backup to my cell phone.

Again, I think a women's diver with a timing bezel and date would be perfect with its blend of durability, water resistance, and of course timing capabilities. She probably uses military time as well at work for charting, and that easy reader has that nice 12/24 dial.

On another note, I see a lot of surgeons wearing GMTs and Subs. I haven't worn my newly purchased 14060 to work yet, but I will soon. Probably on a tropic strap (since I don't want to wear a sopping wet and nasties asbsorbing zulu/nato all day; and I don't want my bracelet scuffed up to hell).

I happen to agree with buying her a G-Shock, They have models that have an analog and digital readout on the same dial and as for accuracy it sets itself to the atomic clock closest to your location daily!!!
