I started wearing my Day Date (an 1803) more, only
after I switched it onto a leather bracelet. IMHO, it
a more elegant and also more understated look, and
just makes the DD even 'classier'.

Here's a pic

Mind me asking what brand strap you chose? That's a nice one.

Great looking watches guys. I really like how the DD looks on a leather strap.

I see so far all are black bands. For my 18078 DD if I was going leather I thought a light brown to match closely to the yd. Thoughts on that combo. I do like the black.

Interesting post. Why doesn't rolex offer the day date with a strap vs just the bracelet? I would have a rose gold one on a strap.

the presidents bracelet that comes with the DD is just as iconic as the watch itself

This is absolutely stunning Marc. Love the dial color, and it looks great on the leather. I sense an expensive purchase coming up...

Beautiful watches.

I think black alligator or lizard with matching stitching works best on white gold or yellow gold.

Romans on a white face- very clean and classic.

The strap you chose brings out the beauty of the RG case.

Do you alternate between the strap and the bracelet?

Truly a keeper.
