Mechanical with Alarm

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced (lets define reasonable as up to 8k) mechanical watches that have an alarm function?

I recently read about this super rare JL, beautiful watch.... http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/2011/2/...ltre-trib.html

JLC is the way to go for a Mechanical Alarm of quality!

I REALLY REALLY love the Dive Watch with Alarm I do not like how its
branded with Navy Seals but thats my only complaint. My cousin is with
a team and laughs in disgust whenever he sees things branded as "Seals"
the only watch branded "Seals" he respects is Kobold as Michael Kobold has
trained with seals and does a LOT to raise money for their fallen heros

I use to fancy a Ulysses Nardin San Marco alarm... but got into Rollies. There went the watches fund, and then some!!

The WG 5847 is one of the most beautiful dress/sports watches made and I'm not a Breguet guy....
The alarm is a very plesant tone, not just a typical buzz.
If I had the wrists and funds that would be my precious metal sports watch for sure. Drool!

If it had a GMT hand I think I could happily live with it as my only watch.

loved it but sold it for a Yachtmaster as i fancied more of a sports style watch but still keep an eye out for a nice used version. Quite a deep watch with the alarm ringer built into the base so needs a larger wrist to carry it I think, even though less than 40mm from memory.

Greg, why did you part with the Breguet for the JLC and never look back?
Both very unique monsters but that Breguet WOW. If they made on in SS I would have a HARD time not buying it even though I know its too large for my wrists.

I had it on a tan strap and wanted something a bit more robust for daily use back when I had 1 'best' watch so went with the SS/Rolesium Yachtmaster. Also checked the size and the JLC was a little bigger than I remembered - 41.5mm, 12mm deep. Not Extreme though.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Vulcain? Weren't they the first company to make alarm wrist watches? They have a rich history.

wow. I have never heard of vulcain, just did a little research. I like these watches, there does not appear to be very many around at least in the US.

These would get my vote! MSRP fits your budget, too.

I vowed not to have anymore solid gold watches.... For every solid gold watch, I can have 2-3 ss ones, really gives the collection some diversity. I actually sold that Breguet at the show, started having regrets, bought ANOTHER one, and before even peeling the plastic off decided that I made the right decision the first time around. The anguish!!!

HaHa and here I am going the opposite way...
Id rather have a couple good SS Tool watches to beat
and then a couple nice precious metal watches instead of a lot
of SS, I just got bored of doing that.

The wonderful cycles of watches...

Again, if I had the wrist size for that Breguet (really starting to ? if I have the wrists for the FF I am wearing but damn I like it!) I'd be doing a LOT to try an make it fit in my budget... The alarm is amazing and the watch is a stunner!!!

You could get an Eco-Drive that not only gives an alarm, but comes with light for night-time too.

I have a Perrelet Alarm watch. Buzzy alarm, but I like the look. And can be found for under $1500, MSRP is $6500, I think.
