Icon7 My favorite contemporary aviator watch...

Amazing multi-funtionality makes it the most useful watch I've ever owned...

Best,
Ron

Nice pics and great looking watch Ron.
I've been thinking lately I'd like to sell my Tag Heuer chronotimer (CAF1010.FT8011 ) and pick up something like this as a replacement. I never really took to the Tag and I rarely wear it.

If I remember right, you can't have the date AND the time up at the same time. That, and the lack of a nice indiglo and loud alarm upset me a little, still a very nice watch.

Hmmmm.... leaving the date selection set in the lower display window and reading the analog hands for the time (as shown below) seems to work quite well. The display is NVG compatible and beautifully legible under all light conditions so I don't understand what a nice Timex "indiglo" would do for the piece. Further, the turbine blade caseback is slotted and provides amplification for the alarm ( two different alarms actually) which is actually quite loud in my opinion. Did you have a B-1 and sell it for the reasons you mentioned? Perhaps you had a lemon???
