I'm thinking I may want a Coke.........
but I don't really NEED it. Someone please help me.
I don't travel much to different time zones. I just don't understand why I want this thing. A client had one about 2 weeks ago and today I ran into a fellow TRFer at my local AD who was sporting one. One of my employee's father has a Pepsi that he bought in 1973 but I am really digging the Coke. Oh and it's the University of South Carolina's colors so I would be a big hit during football and baseball season (we are national champs by the way). Again, I DON'T NEED THIS THING! Please help. Talk me out of this thing. |

If your going with a GMT might as well have all the bezel options. And each has it's own personality.
The GMT is a great watch and hope you get to enjoy one. dP

I didn't need one but REALLY wanted one. I just picked one up off the forum last week and am very happy with it. The coke bezel appealed to me a lot more than the pepsi, although, I wouldn't mind having a spare one available.
I say go for it.

The GMT is great because the bezel options are like having 3 different watches. BTW I don't know if you follow football recruiting but that Jadeveon Clowney kid you guys picked up this year is simply the best high school player I've ever seen.

I never paid much attention to the Pepsi and Coke GMT II before. Then I started thinking about the bezel insert options and in having a classic along with my GMT IIc TT and my Deepsea.
I preferred the Coke but bought the Pepsi (w/3186 mvmt) as it was available. So, I ordered a black and Coke insert bezels and will have them mailed to me when I return stateside in a few weeks. I say go for it and scratch the itch. I think you'll like having and be enjoying the Coke. My 2c. |

The GMT Master II is an awesome watch which I highly recommend. The weight and feel are perfect to me. Having owned Subs and DJ previously, this one really hits the mark for my tastes. The subs crown tends to dig into the back of my hand a bit and I also prefer the lighter weight of the GMT. Really like the GMT for its time zone flexibility as I travel quite a bit. Coke, Pepsi, Black bezels are all additional features in my book.

Get it with some inserts and a jubilee bracelet and have 6 watches in one. Good luck

I think the GMT is an awesome watch. Some day I too would like to get one even though I already have a GMTCII. Make sure you get all of the bezel choices like Dan P said.
Did you really expect us to talk you out of it?

IMO it's the most versatile watch in the sports collection. You have the choice of 3 bezels & 2 bands.
Go for it! |

My other watches have been gathering dust since I got my coke GMT. Haven't had the urge to switch out the bezel yet, after 3 months.

The fourth hand and bezel with 24 hour time makes a slightly more interesting watch. Pepsi rules, Coke is a close second.
For the GMT's, I'm an Exp II polar guy.

No way I'm going to try to talk you out of this. Not only can you do the three bezel options as mentioned above, but the oyster, jubilee, and almost every damn NATO in the world works beautifully with this watch. IMO, the most flexible model out there.

You definitely need this watch Dan.
Also take Dan Pierce's advice and get all three bezel combos. |

Stop thinking and just get it. Once you have it on your wrist, you'll wonder why it took you so long.
