Fake or Not...Please help

Hi guys,

I'm a new member to this great community.
I'm going to buy this watch tomorrow and wanna let you guys review it before i jump into it.
I think it's a 179178 but the price that the owner is offering is so unreal
Please acknowledge me.

Looks ok, but take it to have it authenticated if it is such a great deal before you purchase it.

One concern with the 18k watches is the bracelet. There are a number of fakes out there. The head can be good and the bracelet a fake.

The clasp in the picture looks good but need to see a better shot of the scroll and hallmarks.

If the price is unreal then I suspect the watch to be unreal to. Very simply put the owner can scrap the watch for Gold prices and do very well IF it is real 18K.So there is zero reason to sell you the watch at an "unreal" price.

Unreal has different meaning to different folks.

The OP is watching so it would be nice to know what his/her definition is?

I must be a pessimist as every time I read these threads I think "troll". They ask this question and always seem to take forever to respond. I am sorry but if I was going to ask this kind of question about a 5 figure item I would at least hang out a minute or two to respond to the questions! I know...they could be working..
They always seem to be from someone new (1-2 posts) always about the watch being fake or not and the price is too good to be true...

Hey :)
I'm far from a watch expert, but if there is one thing that I have learnt here on the Forum, listening to others and reading stories, as well as elsewhere in life it is that: If the deal seems too good to be true, then it usually is.

I would definitely get it authenticated before parting with any money, just to be sure.

Good luck"

The case with lug holes paired to a solid link bracelet worries me.

U have a 18k or 14k DJ there with a President Bracelet.
if a plastic crystal, is it a 14k? I am not sure.
I am also not sure that the DJ was available on a President bracelet. Now we have to ask if the Bracelet is a true Rolex or a 18k Italian bracelet.

I would approach with caution.

Of course it's available with a President bracelet, that's what a ladies President is all about.

Looks pretty good.
Either way, you still have to let it authenticated.
