How do you adjust the clasp on a new Daytona

There are three adjustment groves, in addition to the easylink. When I bought the watch, the salesperson asked the service technician to make the adjustment from one groove to another, saying that he could not do it.

I like the whole easylink design, but I was wondering if you can adjust the normal pin setting (easily) on your own, or do you need to make a visit to the AD to have it adjusted?

Thanks for the help.

you can do your own adjustments on the clasp.

all you need is a steel pin strong enough to push down the spring.

I'm not sure where the pin comes into it, but if the Watch was bought new, there is a booklet dealing solely with the clasp.

i thought there would have been holes on the side to allow you to tighten/loosen the bracelet by depressing the springbar holding it in place.

Very very easy to do...BUT take care. I use a Bergeon tool...6111.

Inside the clasp is a springbar..it shifts across 3 adjustments....ease the springbar out with the 6111...remove both sides and slide along to the desired setting.

YES you can absolutely do this yourself. No need to make needless trips to the AD If you are just not comfortable trying, make one more trip into the AD and have them show you how to make the necessary adjustments so you can do it the next time

Remember it is just a watch
