I think you could get a fake for that much almost any day. Just make sure whatever you get it from someone who is fully trustworthy and if you really want one bad enough save up and make sure you get a real one.

I would keep saving as that is not enough. One day you will get what you want but today is not that day!

Unfortunately for that amount on eBay, you will end up with a Folex, sans box & papers.

600$ might just get you a beat up bubble back needing to spend again that to restore it .
If you find a Submariner around that price don't spend $600 you can find the same type for $50 on a chinese website .

That watch is currently at $407 with 8 more days to go.
I have a feeling (correct me if I'm wrong) that it will go for slightly over $600 before it's over.

Yes... and we don"t want you to get stuck with one. So what we are saying is that for $600 you are almost surely going to get sold a fake. So please be careful and save your money until you can buy with confidence. It it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Welcome to the forum.

It has a stock picture, probably taken from elsewhere. They've got the reference wrong, which is a big alarm bell, and the going price is way, way above that for a GMT II. At a quick glance here on TRF (where the prices are very competitive), you're going to be looking at around $4k US. That ebay ad screams scam to me, no information about the watch and just a generic link to the Rolex website. You'd have to be clinically insane to bid on that watch

The first auction you listed, the seller has less than 200 feedback and from what they show us they have never sold a watch before. They have been selling coffee tables and Iphones. The feedback looks strange to me.

The second seller on the Tudor does have allot of feedback and I bet that watch sells for much more than where it is right now.

You could get an older precision or perhaps an older date model for $1000 if you get lucky. But, they will need to be cleaned and serviced more than likely. Also, at that price you will not get papers.

Good Luck

If you believe you can buy a Rolex for $600, then you are just trying to convince yourself that it's O.K. to buy a fake. If that's what you are after, then go for it.

There are plenty of very nice time pieces that you can purchase for under £1000. I would recommend getting one of those if you're budget wont reach to Rolex at the moment. Check out the following.
