16013 value?
hey all..
I am looking at a used 16013 two tone datejust - blue dial with sticks. It is used ~1986 range and has a new replacement jubilee from 1999 (S code clasp). The watch just came back from RSC dallas in dec 2010 - so all that is up to snuff. over all the watch looks great, I would say 90+% condition. That said, what is the value range for this? The watch has service papers, but no original box/papers. See attached pic Matt |

Nice watch and recent service is a huge plus. 1986 is a long time ago, though. This is probably a quickset and acrylic crystal-- is that correct? If so, I'd say $2,000+. With no more description than 1986 DJ, I would have said $1,500 to $2,500, tops. If the bracelet is in great shape (little "stretch"), the recent service makes this a nice find and maybe closer to $2,500, IMO.
If this is the watch you really want, it could have another 50 years left in it. Good Luck. |

Yes I believe the assumptions are correct. Quick set and plastic crystal.
The bracelet is a question mark. I know it was replaced in 1999 but not sure about current stretch. |
