Would you care about little misalignment of the bezel on your GMT Ceramic TT

For some reason before didn't care about the bezel misalignment when i got my new GMT Ceramic TT, today I made a decision to wear it and started to bother me when I noticed it. Would I bring it to have it aligned?.

Opinions appreciated.

Thanks.

George

Hmm...

Shaky cam photos aren't helping to point out what is misaligned - at least for me.

All looks well - in the top pic.

What are you concerned about???

Not sure that I see the misalignment however when I get mine, for a watch that is suggested to retail for over USD$7,000 yes - it better be perfect. $0.02

If it's under warranty, I would bring it in. Otherwise it will nag at you like hell.

I am not sure that I can see the realignment there.

On mine from some angles it does look like the bezel is slightly misaligned. But in fact, as can be seen when looking at it aligned to GMT and directly from above, it is most definitely not.

The 0 triangle does look slight misaligned to the dial. It looks a hair couter-clockwise of the 12:00 marker.

I don't think it would bother me...mostly because it's so slight. And because I would rarely have the bezel in that position.

Unlike the diver bezel, the GMT bezel is supposed to line up perfectly with the dial. Yours clearly is off by a couple degrees. Not acceptable. Get it adjusted. If it was the old style it would be an easy fix, not so simple with the ceramic.
You're right to demand better quality control. If it was a Sub, I'd say who cares, but I use mine and don't reset to 12.

I cannot see anything wrong either. Can you take some better pics? I have had a few bezels that were misaligned but never bothered me enough to do anything about

X2. And why has the bezel got to line up within a cats whisker of the 12 O'Clock marker anyway. The bezel is meant to be turned and not permanently fixed to the 12 marker. On my watches the bezel is left where it was last used until its needed again.Just cannot for the life of me see why its got to be fixed at the 12 position.

Pictures illustrating the issue or not, if it is misaligned it would bug me and I would get it fixed.

But if it doesn't line up I think it will not line up in any position.

If we are talking abour missalignment the lower point of the 12 o'clock luminova marker does not align to the Rolex Crown on the dial at least from the first image. It could be just the angle but it loooks kind of weird.
Plus the Rolex crown on the rehaut does not look aligned to the little 12 o'clock line behind the big marker...
The first would bother me more...but only because I like to take macro pictures...

As already stated if it bothers you take it back. Afterall it's a very expensive piece of kit and you'd want it to be perfect

George.....As Anders and others have said, if it bothers "you" then take it back to your AD and ask them to fix it. Whether it might be insignificant to others, it was your hard earned money, and you should make every reasonable attempt to end up happy with your purchase, and hopefully your AD has that same customer service focus. I don't think it unreasonable for the bezels to line up properly, as that certainly should not be a difficult production issue for Rolex.

x2. I agree totally. It's too much money for you not to be 100% happy and excited everytime you view your watch. Don't worry whether or not you think you might feel funny talking to the AD. In the end, you'll be glad you got it resolved to your satisfaction.

i looks like it's 1/2 mm off. I would just leave it....having them rip apart the watch is not worth a half mm adjustment.

If it bothers you then have the AD take care of it, on the other hand there're chances that they will mess up your watch somewhere else while fixing it. I would leave it until you get it serviced.

Mine looks the same, I think the angle distorts the perception. If you take it in let us know how it worked out.
