The Flat four on an Anniversary Bezel was for the MKI batch in 2003. The Flat four for the black bezel just means its an older style previous to what we see now. My guess was they stopped using them in 2004 or maybe till they ran out after 2003.

Flat four is very cool

are they all that good? i never noticed it was different untill i got back home. do they also fit the sd? i know nothing about it and need the facts. i already have a pointy insert i can put in the new bezel so dont need to use the flat one. jeez i bought it so that i would not have to change inserts.
