I'm certainly no expert, but i compared it to a few other examples and unlike the others the wallet seems to look cheap and the gold serial number is not printed on the inner spine, is this from a certain period of production?

Looks fine to me. This would be an interesting item to counterfeit, but I'm sure someone would try if there was a market for it. If you're uncertain of the authenticity, there are always SD kits popping up on the FS section of TRF. Buy from one of then.

Looks OK; it's not the most recent design. This style was used prior to the latest style with the velro closure on the inner flap. The most recent style is a finer grain leather as well.

Looks exactly like the one that came with my brother's SD, purchased in 2005.
