measuring diameter
Hi guys,
When they measure the diameter does it include the bezel and/or lugs or is it strictly the actual viewing area? I have heard it should be measured from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock which would mean no lugs, but what's the scoop? Just trying to decide between the sub and sea dweller/deep sea. In looking at the sea dweller vs. the sub, the sd looks a bit smaller in the dial, but I guess they are the same size--hence I am wondering. Thanks! By the way, this is a great forum and I appreciate everyone who contributes and has been helping me decide on which model to choose. Mike |

I did it this way.
Can't remember if diameter is with or without bezel. |

However, your question seems to be about the dial. Because the DeepSea has the ring-lock under the crystal, the actual viewing area of the dial is smaller.. The older Sea Dweller also has a smaller dial than the Sub Date..
