Best Grey Market UK Dealer

Who do you think is the best grey market Rolex dealer in the UK, (new or used)?

Price mostly, but obviously the others matter too. Guarantee matters as well.

Price will depend on which model, there are still some grey dealers charging people £3500 for the LV, which are not even selling at list very well these days.

Let me know what model you're after and I'll put you in touch with someone.

There are only TWO really good grey market dealers I can recommend you buying from:

David Duggan from New Bond Street

"Second Time Round" from Gray's Antique Market (just next to Bond Street Station).

David Duggan is probably the best of those two.

David Duggan is AWESOME! I remember my last London visit to him:

Like FOUR SS Brand New Daytona 116520 in the window.
Various HIGH collectibles like "Double Red SD"
And: Many Patek, and we're talking Complications! Not just the odd Calatrava.

David's a one off

If everything goes to plan, I should be able to afford a Rolex mid next year. I just realized how bad that is!

Edit: Prince, could you throw a royal ruby my way? Pweeze?

Don't feel bad! I know how you are feeling. I have had many Rolex watches, but now I only have the "dust" that I showed in my other thread "Spring Cleaning".

But I am working hard and saving my money for that SS Sub Date.

Ian Blowers Jewellers (in Hull) can have some decent stuff in from time to time - I have bought a couple of Rolex's from them with no probs, service is pretty good too.

Best in what way? If you mean premiums for watches that aren't that hard to get, then you must mean best at charging

Duggans, 2nd time and Blowers are all expensive, I'll email you the details of a guy that will get you the stuff you want below list, not above it.

Blowers had a SS Daytona for £6950, and are selling a pre-owned SD for £2900!

I think there was a little "supply problem", a lot of their stuff is 7-10 days plus for availability, unless you want a bog standard SMP or something.

I emailed the guy you told me about and the price he gave me for a BNIB GMT-II I could get from an AD (with a discount.) Maybe he doesn't have one in stock and he'll have to buy it from somewhere else.

Maybe, perhaps the end of line thing has firmed the prices up a bit...What discount would a UK AD give you on a GMT?

Adam, I got 7.5% from an AD in Colchester on Friday. This was for a GMT II (Pepsi). He also had the black and the black/red in the window.

No Idea Just hit the quote button, instead of reply.

7.5% is fair, I know Ernest Jones will go to 10% if pushed, but then I don't know if nearer London is more competitive, so maybe they are a bit hungrier.

When you reply, don't use the quick reply box at the bottom, hit the quote button instead, bottom right of the message, previous text will be quoted.
