Wateches in different countries, SN's?

For Rolexes sold in different countries, is there any difference in serial numbers or otherwise to tell which country the watch was originally sold to? I note there are some fine watches sold outside the U.S. where I am living and have thought about buying one of those at some point in time.

I wondered if the watches sold in the U.S. are identical in all respects or not. I assume the quality s identical wherever it is purchased, and likewise if one has it serviced in another RSC anywhere, the watch will have had the same exemplary care by Rolex trained folks.

I bet someone will know the answer here.

All Rolex watches are made at their factory in Geneva and are all the same. There are no distinguishing marks on them to tell what market they were originally shipped to..

The paperwork does vary depending on the market as to language and packaging accessories...

Occassionally there is a market specific option, such as the blue insert GMT's of days gone by...

The warranty card is different - watches sold in US does not have "country code" while watches sold in other countries have 3 digit "country code" such as "888" is for HongKong.

However the watch quality should be all the same.
