Highlights from Antiquorum NY's 8 June Auction

There's nothing I enjoy more than reading a looking through Paul Boutros pictures from auction previews. He has now written a thourough report on Antiquorum's auction in New York on the 8th of June.

I am not sure if it's allowed to post links to other fora, but they do contain some fantastic Rolex pieces.

Go grab a cup o'coffee and enjoy!

Please click here for Part 1!

Wow, I'm absolutely amazed.

Lot 102: Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar, Ref. 3940P - words can't even describe. That could possibly be one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen.

Thank you. Thank you.

There are no words to describe the beauty of some of the watches, especially those mighty PP, VC and Rolex, amongst others. The good old days can never be duplicated and indeed, nostalgic.

They are just surreal, to say the least. Surely, they will find good homes and be showered with all the love and care, daily.

Thank you.

Why is the skeleton Breguet going for such a low price compared to the other fine timepieces shown??

It is nice, however, I feel this one from the March auction is even nicer!

What beautiful watches. The Paul Newman 6241 has me liken' my chops. The AP Skeleton Pocket watch is beautiful beyond compare. The next 160k that I have laying around I'm in for the 6241.

I wonder how common pocket watches are these days? I wouldn't mind using one!
