Vintage 18k or TT Rolex...

I remembered sometime ago, Nick Hacko listed his criterias on watch durabilty.

All these eventually lead to a ND-SS Sub.

True enough, the only watch I see that survived 40-50+ years of use are SS Subs...not the GMT, not the Explorers (perhaps it's just not as popular).

Do you know of any 18k or TT all-original Rolex (including bracelets) that are 40+ years old? Some DJs perhaps?

When were 18k and TT introduced anyway?

Or is it really because of the SS Sub's popularity that makes it survive for so long? Could be both...
