leather strap on 116520
Just ordered a pair of end links from Eugene, and now looking for a matching alligator strap. Does anyone have any recommendations (pics please)? Is it possible to re-use the original clasp from the steel bracelet?

As far as i know WG end links are different and part of the case on a Daytona. There's a guy in this forum who produced some end links... Spend some time browsing thru this section that i pretty sure that you'll find this thread..

yup, already got the end links from Etur (Eugene). I am just curious to know if there's any way to use the SS clasp on a leather strap.

I have both, SS and WG on a strap. I looked @ the SS bracelet and i dont think theres a way to use its clasp since one of its ends is a solid link-like part... But I'm no expert. What does etur says about that?

I don't think you can use the clasp. There ARE very similar aftermarket clasps that will work, if you care to go that route.

Not sure about the end links but check out ABP for the straps. Lots to drool over.

You can even try to source a real clasp.. but not sure if it will fit correctly or not..

BH13GMT, I also saw Swiss Watch Customs. Reasons why I passed:
1. their end links are too big, which makes the watch look long 2. agree, the clasp is not quite Daytona Style, looks like a fake vintage Rolex clasp. I'd rather go for something more unique 3. difficult to find replacement straps 4. for the same price, I can get a much better quality Hirsch strap. |
