Pittsburgh GTG...Looking towards next year, we are! (Picture heavy. LOL!)
Started at a local restaurant for breakfast...
Then off to Henne Jewelers... TRF'r Chadthewatchguy was the perfect host! Thank you Chad, AND HENNE'S, for having us. Hope we're invited back next year. Mike won THE grand door prize, a Rolex keychain. (Mark's saying, "But I drove him here!" ) (He was the first one through the door. ) Two other fellow TRF'rs showed up, as well... Ryan (Lokomoko) and Alec (Alec) - Hope I have the spelling correct, guys! Tripped across the street to Doc's other place ... We then slipped over to the Southside... "Try this one, Mike." Mike's first smoke. And off to dinner atop Mt. Washington... Debbie gets a little surprise... (Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow 3 stone ring served amongst flower petals by our (her ) favorite waiter, Daniel.) We (I) were (was) slow in remembering "Pics, or it didn't happen," for dinner. 5PM reservations turned into a 5:30 arrival because we took the wrong incline of the two. (Sorry, my friends, but we DID get to see Pittsburgh from Mt. Washington "more better," huh!

Some of yunz could easily be here, like Figbo and better half.
Looking forward and hoping that next year yunz might make it to Pittsburgh. We all would enjoy it.

"Mike won THE grand door prize, a Rolex keychain.
(Mark's saying, "But I drove him here!" )" Point of order, I was at the AD first so I was polite and held the door for Mike! Hey, it's a nice prize, but I'll admit that Mike deserved it more than me for his enthusiasm! Glad to see it with him instead of in a closet at an AD. Thanks to all who could make it. A special heartfelt thanks to Doc for dinner Saturday night, and your bad influence, as Linda said, on my first Panerai and Mike's first cigar. I liked Yuriy's a lot , too much really (sigh) I ready to go back already. And a Big thank you to Raf and Lily for the Margaritas and conversation Saturday night. I'm still serious (not the Margaritas talking) that I hope to make it down to Florida for at least a week this winter, I will look you up. Enjoy your return to our largest state, I'll want to hear about it. Thanks to Mike, his Mother and "the girls". Great to finally meet younz (what did I just type?) and add to the good times. Wouldn't have been the same without you! It was great to meet Alex and Brian on Saturday. I hope we can meet again in the future. Alex, maybe we can meet this weekend, I like wedding cake!Brian, don't be a stranger! Mark, what can I say, always a pleasure. I wish I wasn't working every day and you didn't live quite so far away. I'm in for Cleveland, just need some lead to try to coordinate things. Oh, and um, call me, I think! And last, but not least, Thanks to Craig and Debbie for putting this together. All was fun and enjoyable and I certainly look forward to future gatherings. You've inspired me to think seriously into attempting to do a Detroit GTG. |

Yup, made it in at 6:30AM this morning lol I slept for 2 hours when we got in, but I couldn't sleep for some reason. I'm glad you made it home safe as well ! But ya, the drive home was horrible ! The way we went, I programmed my GPS to take us there the "Toll-Free" way (with Tolls only would have been another 10 miles shorter), but on the way back, the "no-tolls" way turned into 11 hours, so we programmed the GPS to take us through the tolls. MAN, was THAT a mistake lol. We ended up going right through New York City (HORRIBLE roads, the GW bridge was bumper to bumper . . . at 4:30AM !!!), New Jersey, all none of which we went through to get to PA when we left our house. Anyway, needless to say, my mother was ready to throw the GPS out the window by the time we finally made it back HAHA |

Congrats to Craig and David for putting together a super GTG.
I hope this is the first of many, yunz guyz! Good eats, some nice watch viewing and transactions, plenty of adult beverages and most importantly, an awesome group of gals and guys. If you missed this one, do not make that same mistake next time. These GTGs are only getting better each time we meet. One more to everyone that made this a weekend! |
