Re-Dialed 1601 Question
The first Rolex I bought was a '67 refinished dial 1601. The watch has only been worn a few times, but now I'm considering doing something with it. The case and movement are in pretty good shape, and I already have a jubilee. I'd like to replace the dial, but I'm looking for some advice.
1. Should I send it to RSC and have them replace the dial with an original Service dial? Does anyone know if they could do this, and what an estimate of the cost may be? 2. Source a used dial and have someone put it on? I'm thinking if I could have RSC do it, then I know I have an authentic dial with paperwork. Thoughts? |
