I take my watches off once I arrive home. I'm not an all-day-long watch wearer at all.

To do the date change every other month and to wash it under the shower. The second activity is a daily one.

When doing household chores I will take the watch off. Otherwise, I'm wearing one and the rest are on the winder or in the jewelry box.

To take a shower.
Washing the cars or bikes. Any other activity where there is the potential to bang or scratch it. I work with it on, and sleep with it. |

Today I went to the gym and wore my new Sub C LV as I worked out. I returned home, took a shower still wearing it. My Rolex is now by my side sitting on the sofa waiting for my skin to become less moist (if that makes sense).
Tonight I will also be wearing it in bed (don't laugh but it's part of the new watch bonding process), eventually I will sleep naked and leave it on the side. I may swap watches throughout the day (up to three times, even). I will also sometimes swap a watch with my best friend for the evening if we're out, but I'm protective of some more than others (the watches, not the friends). I generally only take watches off for heavy manual work when the tools come out (or when procreating, which is the same thing I suppose)! |

I don't sleep with it unless I am camping or some such thing where I'd rather keep it on. Otherwise just about the only activity I take it off is waterskiing, and only for fear of a spring bar failure if I fall. (I haven't done any rock climbing lately but the rock gym is another place id remove it, mainly because I I bang it up I'm far more likey to hurt my wrist than the watch!)

If I'm doing something where it would "bother" me. Like a lot of cycling...or lifting weights...or extended running...or when I need a digital split-timer.
That's it. |

As was said, its off when sleeping, showering, performing duties that may damage it.
I admit, though, every time its off my wrist I can't wait to place it back on. During which I carry a big grin, EVERY time! |

Whenever I get to relax, the watch comes off.
Hard for a girlfriend to cuddle up next to you when your watch can get stuck in her hair :p No one wants a 2.5 foot long strand of hair wrapped around a springbar! |

given that my daily wearer is a DD, I take it off for the following:
sex (not including quickies) sleep (at my place only) shower overnight camping or hunting in front of a jury. rest of the time it's telling me the time. |

I wear my Sub-C LN all day for the past week (only had it a week). I tend to wear all my watches 24/7 unless, like others, I am doing manual labor that has a high probability of damaging it or working out. I wear it to sleep, in the shower, work, normal daily household tasks and light manual labor. I try not to take it off if I can.

I never wear a watch to bed.
Call me chicken but I always take my watch off if doing anything that I believe would puit it in harms way. I know I will put some scratches in them, but I have no desire to do it on purpose.
