WG Daytona

Hey All,

If I were to buy a white gold daytona on a leather strap would I subsequently be able to buy a white gold bracelet (if i decided I didnt like the strap)? I've never seen a white gold bracelet sold separately (either new or used).

If so, does anyone know how much the bracelet would roughly cost?

Thanks!

The metal bracelet (Gold or SS) will not fit a leather strap model...They use a different shaped midcase and connect using a different endlink!

Not to mention, if you could source a solid gold bracelet, you'd be looking in the order of 10K!

In the USA a WG bracelet from Rolex is around us$16k as per USA price list. And it will not fit a strap WG Daytona. I know because I have one! However, if you are a handyman and know your way with tools, nothing can stop you from modifying an original Rolex bracelet or the watch itself to make it work. Very risky and personally I wouldnt in any way modify the watch or bother.

WG/TT/YG bracelet just way too much to buy separately.

There are aftermarket ones made just for the strap watches, they run about $5.5k.

I asked the same thing a while ago and the answer was no.

Here is my thread on the subject and it goes into a little more detail regarding your question.
