Easylink extension or micro adjust 1 notch

Hi TRF,
Apologies in advance for my OCD tendencies but I'm trying to attain the perfect fit for my daytona.

When the micro adjustment is at the tightest notch it is too tight for me. When I engage the easylink extension which adds 5mm I feel it becomes abit too loose. If I increase the micro adjustment notch by 1 does it add less than 5mm?

Is it even a good idea to always wear my watch with the easylink extension always folded out?

Personally, I prefer to wear mine with the extension closed, and when my wrist expands from the heat, I let it out!
Try it back one notch on the clasp with extension (easy link) closed.

I could only get a good fit with the easlink out... Can't imagine what could be wrong with using it this way all the time... ?
