Can I go wine tasting with my Rolex
Going wine tasting in Napa this weekend and thinking if my Daytona can take it. Anyone have any comments about if the the watch can make it? I think I just might leave it at home.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yes, I am making a joke.... have a great Friday everyone. |

Absolutely not.......it will get drunk & wasted & fall off your wrist & injure itself.
If you must wear it, have the bracelet removed, attach a NATO strap & only let it have 1 glass of wine, no more than 6 oz.

The 80 degree weather in Napa might be too harsh.

very funny
However that Daytona won't DO. To get to the bottom of the wine barrel, you'd need a DEEP SEA mate.

Only if you have left the plastic stickers on it.

For wine tasting, it has to be either JLC or Patek.

Leave it at home. You could hit it on something or fall down drunk.

NO! You must send either the watch or the wine to Texas for safe keeping!

Worse if you get drunk and punch someone in the face with your Daytona.

If it's got Kif shock absorbers in case you fall over, then it's ok.
Just try not to say the plural of Rolex when you've downed a few glasses!

Love Grgich Hills wine, Trefethen ain't so shabby either, that'll be a great time. Meanwhile
I'll be stuck in this sandpit that's gonna be like a 1000 degrees. I wanna take a train trip through Napa one day, won't have to worry about drinkin and driving. Have a great time. Post some pics of Grgich Hills tasting room etc..

Not sure I understand the question. Unless you plan on swimming within a large vat of wine why wouldn't you wear it if you like it?
Are you afraid the wine aficionados might look down on a lowly Rolex? |

Swimming in a vat of wine is okay, as long as you rinse the watch with soap and water afterwards
