Hopefully not a completely stupid question.
So as stated the other day I purchased a new Submariner from an out of state AD. Getting it shipped soon. But in the meantime while reading posts on here I wanted to ask a few questions.
The following is from my reciept: Gent's 40mm stainless steel black index dial black time-Lapse Bezel Rolex Submariner Watch#116610. So my questions are: Is this the Sub C everyone is talking about, being that its the ceramic bezel? Is this the LV? Is it the Maxi Dial? Just wondering, dying here waiting for it to come in. Do they only come one way from Rolex? |

116610 is Ceramic (Sub C) with the Maxi Dial
Unless it says LV after the model, then it is black (LN) The retail price of the LV is $550 higher, so you would know if you bought the LV. Seems strange that you didn't ask more questions before you spent that kind of $$$. Be sure to post pics when it arrives.

I don't know why, but nobody here shows complete serial numbers. You may want to edit your post if you did. The 116610 model number says it's a ceramic Sub. If it had an LN after those numbers you'd know it was a black dial and bezel; LV and it would be the green dial and bezel. Since it's ceramic it has the maxi dial.

The 116610 is the ceramic model.
Having a black dial and bezel makes it the LN(Black), not the LV(Green)! The Subc has a maxi dial and hands. I'm not sure what you mean by the last question??

I removed the serial #. I was under the assumption that the black stainless sub only came in one way. So I didn't ask a ton of questions until I began posting on here and saw so much Rolex "speak" that I was just curious.

As above stated... As for the last question??? YES, the models all come the same from Rolex, there are not any modifications/personalization or things of the like that you can do. The model # your purchased will be the exact same as that model # purchased anywhere else in the world Is that what you are asking? If not, I am confused too...
Cannot wait to see some pics too
