I got my first Rolex =)
I bought a Rolex Explorer. How many does Rolex make of this type of watch? The AD said that its hard to come by in my area. Best part is no one notices the watch and I actually prefer that no one notices so I can just enjoy it.
I only bought it because I loved it. Women became more approachable but I think its just me being friendly or maybe more excited. |

Welcome to the forum! They're a bit hard to come by because the 39mm model is new, but I'm sure tens of thousands are already out there.
The Explorer is a classic watch, congratulations on owning a piece of history. |

I liked the history of Rolex and I prefer classy than bling or showy. I never wear anything loud either. I love brooks brothers polos as well. I think the Submariner is next hehe but I will wait probably 10 to 20 years unless its a wedding gift if I ever decide to get married. I am only in my late 20's and quite comfortable in my life.

Enjoy your watch, just got my Rolex 2 weeks ago... Can not help taking sneaky looks at it..
Only people that have noticed have asked if it's a fake.. Go figure... |

Great watch. If you continue hanging round here, I'd put money on you having that sub within a year.

Congrats mate, this is a beautiful watch, this was my first Rolex. I wish I kept it to .
But like the joker said, you will either sell this on to buy a sub or sell your tv, kitchen sink, bath tub or anything that will get you closer to owning another watch. You have been officially bitten by the watch bug. |

Excellent choice. The perfect blend of classic, elegant, sporty, and stealthy. I keep going back to making this one my first Rolex too. I love the matte dial on the new one. I saw it again the other day in the case, and it just looked great. Today I'm thinking Explorer 39mm, then possibly followed by vintage 5513 Submariner. Congratulations on your new watch. It's a sure keeper.
