Custom Rolex Sub by Slam Jam

I like this customized Sub but not sure if I'd ever wear one to be quite honest. At least it gives us good ideas on mods that we can do at home via a reliable watchmaker.

I do love the 20 in Red!!!

Check out the link for more pics and details.

Yeah but there are a number of things I wouldn't like. For one, I wouldn't want Slam Jam on the dial.

I completely agree. Not a fan of custom mods but I appreciate the different look of it.

This came up a while ago I recall? I love everything about it except the God awful "SlamJam" printing on the dial. Those self-promoting asses could have left that off and stuck it on the caseback or something :)

"SlamJam" = FAIL.

Mods devalue and pull from the way a Rolex is supposed to look. It's like those guys that put tiny Daytons on a Z28 or a Mustang GT.... WHY?

Ive seen some PVD mods I liked as well as some diamond mods, but I'd never do that on my Rollies. They look great just the way they are.

I do like customized watches, as long as I was able to put it back to the original.

But "Slam Jam" =

Bad watch but by the look of the last pic you get the original dial, strap and bezel in the box with it. At least you could get it put back to a standard COSC non date!!

While I do appreciate PVD, black Nato's, red date wheels and seconds hands... Slam Jam branding does not make the cut.

One would think that if they were on the ball they would have noticed the market potential of a Matte dial with printed super lume indices...

I like it! Let's not forget there are other variations with company names on the dial, to each his own I suppose.

They highlight the 20 on the bezel commemorating the 20th anniversary of the company. Slam Jam was Founded by Luca Benini in Ferrara in 1989, Slam Jam is one of the main distributors of street wear, following its evolution also through various parallel and more sophisticated markets.
