Is it me or is anyone else afraid to remove them. I will need to remove the ones on the clasp soon as they are starting to come off and look not very nice.

Go for it! They won't stay on for ever

getting scratches on your watch is just a part of owning one.... after 3-4 years you can get it sent off for a service and it will come back like new from Rolex

Nope mine have cone straight off! Rolexes look stupid covered in plastic, plus I love finding all the stickers, some are totally hidden!

I know what you mean I keep finding new ones all the time. I'm going to remove the clasp one now but leave the rest for a while. Interestingly it shows you where the most wear occurs as it shows on the seals!

OH ....... NO ...... not the seals ......

keep them pristine .... they'll come in handy later when you need to repair a radiator hose or steam valve ......

I take them off right away and stick them in the owners manual so I can admire them later.

I know what you mean. I just found another one the other day when giving it a bath. I mean you would think after a couple of these things I would know where to look. They are tricky little devils, one needs to hunt them down and peel them all off.

Scratches wiil happen, get over it that is life. Besides when you take it in for service they will remove all of them for you and you can start all over again.

Sticky back plastic still on one of the toughest watches and materials known to man.I sometime wonder why some buy a Rolex watch,take them off and throw them in the bin where they belong.Wearing any watch it will get scratched thats a fact, but easily remedied at service time so why worry about a few normal everyday scratches

Besides have you seen some of those watches after the seals were left on for awhile were gunk has accumulated under the seal. That's some real nasty business.

Thanks for the advice about the gunk, I just removed all stickers except for 1 on the folding part of the clasp and 1 on the glidelock and yes there was a bit of gunk there. That advice should be a sticky

I absolutely KNEW I had all mine off the first day I had it. Six weeks later I found a small piece still clinging to one of the lugs. At this point I am 99.99% sure I got everything off!

When I buy a watch the first thing I do is take all the stickers off.

I think watches with stickers all over them look terrible. So what if it gets a scratch here and there. I saw someone driving a Benz the other day with plastic all over the seat. Cracked me up. Reminds me of the poeple that buy hats and don't take the stickers off.

Be careful "protective seals" can become very vicious when you touch them or try and remove then from whern they are laying about..
