Sorry, can't say that the PVD does much for me.

Well looks good, however, your resale value has dramatically dropped due to not many would want to purchase a pvd sub.

I can sell a DLC/PVD Sub for $8,000+ with my eyes closed So losing value isn't the issue...

I also like the stainless, which is why I have 1 of each, but sometimes it feels like a Stainless Sub is like a pair of beige Dockers slacks.. and everyone in the room has one on, I like to be a bit different!

The PVD just cheapens the look of the watch in my eyes. SS is classic and just looks 'right'...

However, I am a purist and like my watches the way they were created. Having said that, the pvd version does looks nice.

I'm more of a purist, too, but the blacked-out Sub still looks excellent and somehow more modern. I've seen a lot of celebrities (on TV, magazines) with coated Rolexes. Definitely cool/trendy. To each their own. Enjoy!

I agree with this statement 100%...which is why I recently traded my LN for a Hulk LV. We both wanted something more unique and have proven that there is more than one way to accomplish that goal!

The dlc makes for a pretty watch. If it's yours, congratulations. I prefer stainless, though.

I think PVD might be a great idea for sub, it's just that the photo is not clear enough to show the good.

If you wear that in China, most people will think it is a fake sub!

I don't understand why someone would do that to a perfectly good watch, to each their own I guess.

The PVD is not my taste but if I was to design it I'd probably leave the bezel and the crown SS. That would offer more contrast and I might like it better.

Nice product placement and ad for your work "king", but I'm not impressed. I presume you want honest feedback, right?

King - If you can't stomach negative feedback then do not post. To me, that PVD Rolex is downright Ugly and I wouldn't pay any amount for it. I find it ridiculous that someone would pay $8000 for it

Perhaps you should actually read the thread before posting!?!!

The thread is from almost 5 years ago, and the OP you are jumping on has been banned from here for almost the same amount of time......
