Abbreviations

Hi all,

I just joined this forum. Being a noob, i do not know that some of the abbreviations means.

so far i have gathered

SS = Stainless Steel
AD = Authorised Dealer
RSC = Rolex Service Center
TT=Two Tone (Bi-metal)
LV= Lunette Verte (50th anniversary Submariner (green bezel)
BNIB = bought new in box
WIS = watch idiot savant


there are quite a number more, do hope seniors can advise. TIA

Also please feel free to add. i will try to update asap

Sorry to be such a spoilsport, but that is "lunette verTe", not "verde".

I just know becauce I got corrected by a Swiss member who stated he has a Swiss passport and speaks fluently French and that he was NOT to be argued with

Fair enough IMHO (which does NOT stand for "I Must Have Oyster" but for "In My Humble Opinion").
