Finally did it.... new steel for the GMT Master II

Finally broke down and did it. Ordered a jubilee bracelet from AD. He was able to source one for a ....somewhat reasonable price. I know for some this maybe considered heresy, taking it off the Oyster style bracelet, but I'm so in love with this look....

Thanks to this of you who posted your GMT Masters and what they looked like on Jubilee bracelets.... it pushed me over the edge.

Before...

....and after!

I prefer the oyster bracelet.

But, as long as you like the jubilee, I'm happy!

Oyster is nicer but sometimes change is good.
I have a feeling you will go back to the Oyster bracelet very soon!

Please compare and contrast the two bracelets. How is the comfort factor?

The Super Jubilee weighs less than the Oyster so it is lighter, and it has more gaps in the bracelet so it is airyer also.

I think the Super Jubilee is more comfortable than the Oyster bracelet personally.

That's a nice change. It is amazing how different the watch look with the two bracelets!

I've been enjoying the Jubilee on my Explorers the last couple of weeks. I have tried it out on them all; Ex I, II white, II black. Currently it sits on the ExII black and it offers a very different look that I enjoy.

Still ... today ... I am considering getting the ExII back on its Oyster.

Anyway, the Jubilee is a great looking bracelet!

Best,

A
