Changing battery on Ebel Classic Wave

I have a ladies' Ebel Classic Wave watch. Does anyone know how to change the battery on this watch? There is nothing on the back to remove (no screws or case back). So, I'm thinking that you have to remove the screws on the front of the watch, but I'm not sure what to do with the crown.

I am facing the same issue with Ebel Classic Wave. Yes, you remove the front of the watch. If you are willing to take the risk, see Solution 3 in this thread: http://www.fixya.com/support/t168576..._watch_battery

Otherwise, it's $$$ for Ebel factory service.
