What is wrong with me?????

If you didn't see my thread about my new Sub-C, I purchased a brand new Sub-C last Monday. Since then I have been thinking about a GMT IIc or GMT II 16710. Also on my list is a Blue TT Sub but I want a new one. I have a DSSD that I have had since they hit the market. This is going to get bad. Good news is I have quite a few things that are for sale right now. I have 4 ATV's for sale back in AL (perfect time since hunting season starts in Oct.), I have 2 Sea Doo's for sale, and trying to come up with more crap to sell before it sits another year without being used. Atleast I can defend myself when asked about buying Rolex's. What I got from my fiance about the Sea Doo's is we won't use those 3x a year and when we do we will be in the boat so one of your dumba$$ friends will be using them and tear them up (she was right.) I just had to have a new (to me) boat back in March and now it cost me $1600 a fill up. My last boat didn't work with only 2 engines, I needed 3!!! I have too much fun to want to sell now but I might upgrade to a bigger sportfish with better gas mileage soon or until the bank cuts me off. That will make the fiance happy since we can sleep on the boat then. The only things off limit are my Corvette, RV since my fiance loves to go cross country, and my diving gear (and I'm pretty sure the fiance's SL550 can't ber touched either.) Other than that I'm ready to sell to fund my next purchase. UGH. I just wanted a Sub-C as a daily wearer to replace the DSSD last week. Now I've gotten this bad in a week. Anyone got a cure other than to just go broke?????

Well the plus is that a Rolex habit has to be a heck of a lot cheaper than some of my other hobbies and much less dangerous.....

Congrats on your new addition last week. A few months ago I got a 1990's GMT II, with both oyster and jubilee bracelet, also all the three bezels. It's like having 2-3 watches. I'm currently really satisfied with this watch and am not yearning to add another too soon.

Except maybe a root beer GMT, early black faced Exp II, or a 2 tone Sub is taking my fancy. Aaaaahhhhh I thought I was satisfied. You know how it goes. Cheers Jules

well, do you really need the sub-c and dssd? how 'bout flipping the DSSD for the blue TT sub or the GMTII (GMTIIc not different enough, imo, from the sub-c to justify having two if you're worried about going "broke")?

Most, if not all are suffering from the same disease here. A few members who are doctors are down with severe infection. Treatment out of question! Enjoy!

This website is unknown to most who wear Rolex around the world. With that in mind I would say you are in it, as well as me and thousands of others on TRF.

you have a fever and the only cure is more cow bell, i mean more rolex!

I have learned over the years that in most cases the hunt and lusting after a certain watch is more fun than owning, or do what i do, on to the next hunt!
