Case: Very good condition. No major dings or scratches. Caseback stamped IV.1958. Minor pitting on caseback gasket walls. . Dial/Hands/Insert: Rolex gloss service dial in very good condition (marks are primarily from crystal). Crisp fonts and markers. Hands are very good condition, consistent in wear and color and believed to be original. Original bakelite insert in very good condition, minor cracks @ 13, 16, 18, and wear consistent with age. Bezel in excellent condition. Movement: Rolex caliber 1030 - serial # N827129. Watch is keeping time, can be manually wound and the all black date wheel advances. Last service is unknown. Bracelet: #80 / 7206 riveted style has 11 links – clasp is stamped I.66. The bracelet is currently separated in pieces and can be reassembled. Accessories: None. History: 1 owner watch belonged to an Army Lt. Colonel who flew helicopters with it during Viet Nam. The watch was inspected by Bob Ridley and includes a Letter of Description from Bob. Owners Son in Law will provide a written summary and is searching for military pictures of original owner and watch. $23,950 + shipping, wire only. Will accept a GMT in trade + cash my way.
