Daytona Future?
Hi Guys,
Sorry if this has already been discussed. What do we think will happen to the Daytona ? Will we get a bigger case 41-42 mm? Will the White SS model have blue accents on the Chrono and a coloured Bezel ? I love the older chrono's and would love to see a little colour on the SS Daytonas. Thanks Mani |

I just hope they squeeze in a date function and slap on a ceramic bezel.

Date would be great, ceramic bezel too.
Just hope they don't make bezel and numbers to fat or thick. I like the 60's, 70's and 80's style, beautiful models. 2012 technonlogy with Historic styling please please Rolex ! |

I'll be happy with a green second hand and "DAYTONA" for the 50th anniversary.
Resigned to the fact that it will probably be ceramic bezel, hopefully we are spared the date and YAUC 'enhancement'. Sam *YAUC = Yet Another Useless Cyclops |

Considering what they have done already it appears as though the SS will get a Ceramic Bezel. Maybe they will do something just a little bit extra with the 50th Anniversary model. We will just have to wait and see.

Possibly, according to someone they saw one not to long ago. Or maybe Rolex screwed up like Apple and lost one at a bar somewhere.

Unless it gets bigger, I am not in the market for one. And I see no reason why they would increase its size, it is one of their sought after pieces as it is.

Do not think Rolex will add a date to the new Daytona C if they do the sales of the sub would drop. As it is the market for the new ss daytona c will be huge why upset the sales strategy.

Wouldn't it be "funny" if Rolex gets rid of the entire SS Daytona line by 2013....?!?
(okay, maybe not) |

No date and no ceramic bezel and one is on my wrist. I like big beefy sports models - with dates. I have a DSSD, after all. However the current SS Daytona is fine for me the way it is. While they may not be as hard to get as they once were, Rolex doesn't seem to be having trouble selling them.

I hope they leave the thing the way it is.
It scares me when I think of the possibilities.
