Icon4 Rolex USA will increase the prices by 5% in October

Just got a call from 2 different ADs from 2 different regions in the USA. The both said that Rolex sent them a letter saying that there is a 5% increase across the line. The same ADs were spot on the figures and dates last time.

That's impossible. We just had a price increase in US this year No way customers can bear two price increases in one year

Let's get a sticky that says Rolex prices only go in one direction...and you can guess which way.

Well, I waited too long for the price increase, but it will be better for my finances if I wait a couple of months for my next purchase.

I knew I was taking a gamble when I didn't put a deposit on the last 14060M that was in stock. It sold last week, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Death, taxes, and inflation.

No way.

The price of the watch, according to my AD, is the price when the watch was invoiced.

That's how it is for honest dealers, anyway.

So that isn't good news, but that's the way things go I guess

5% year after year certainly ratchets up the price after a few years as it's 5% on 5% on 5% so in dollar terms ever price increase is a higher net dollar amount assuming the same percentage increase is applicable

So, I havent been around here the past couple of weeks... what ever happened to the super guaranteed imminent increase coming in the beginning of September, no later than the 15th

That was a huge topic of interest back in August haha

I'm assuming the OP is being honest and his description of the situation fits with what I've been told by my AD.

I'll be dropping by tomorrow and if there's a Sub in stock at the lower price, I'm putting a deposit on it.

Well we all knew this was coming so this should not come as a surprise to anyone IMHO... 5%, that seems a bit on the low end for the gold models with the price of gold but what do I know. This will make a SS Sub $8400 MSRP now... WOW

Got my new one the day before the last price increase in May. The rest will only be new to me.
