I'd have to be starving to death before I'd try something like that.

Until a few years ago, what is known as "Canoodling" was illegal in Missouri, but is now legal, or so I'm told.

Catfish hang around in the same places as alligator snappers. I've seen a snapping turtle up close.

I'm not sticking my hand anywhere there might be a snapping turtle, I'd like to keep my fingers.

I'm in favor of eating local, but this whole deal is just...ethnographic to me, as in, something I might watch a documentary on (and I have) but never, ever do myself.
