So How Much Does It Really Weigh?

Hello Friends,

Tonight out of sheer boredom, I decided to weigh all my watches. Yes I'm crazy. In order of weight, from less to more, here it is:

IWC Portuguese 7 Day - 95 grams
Rolex Submariner - 11610 - 130 grams
Rolex Daytona - 116520 - 135 grams
Rolex GMT IIC - 116710 - 140 grams
Panerai 312 - 160 grams
Tudor Heritage - 160 grams

So if I wake up one morning feeling a little sluggish, I'll reach for the IWC or Sub. Feeling strong, the Panerai or Tudor. Anyone else want to add to the list.

Here's a couple more:

Rolex Sea Dweller 16600 - 146 grams
Omega Seamaster Pro 2254.50 - 160 grams
Doxa 1200T Professional - 176 grams

116710 claims 151 grams.
114060 claims 160 grams.

How can the SubC ND weigh more than the GMT IIC?

And how does the 16600 SD only weigh 147 grams? Doesn't that seem too light?

How can the SubC ND weigh more than the GMT ?? ?

I think due to its depth rating. Possibly thicker case!!

The Milgauss has nice weight. But not the right fit for me right now.

I recently tried on the SubC no date and found the weight perfect, felt very high quality. It SANG! But I also tried on the GMT IIC and found it to feel a bit light. Was disappointed.

And I really don't like light pieces, I like a nice dense feel. The SDDS is too much for me. But the discontinued SD is temping, but weight is lighter based on specs.

I love the GMT IIC look and features though. Urgh.

BTW, my BB is 180 grams (per an on online spec). My Seamaster 2254.50 is 160 grams. And my Grantour Chrono is somewhere in between.

I think anything below 160 is out unfortunately.
