Had a bit of a scare last night ...
My little guy would not stop vomiting, so we took him to the ER ... Thank God it turned out it was just a case of indigestion and we were back home in a couple of hours. He's doing just fine now, back to his usual berzerker ways ...
As I was there waiting, which is never a pleasant experience, and even though at that point I was fairly certain it was nothing serious, I was thinking about the completely irrelevant things we worry about everyday (oh my there is a speck of dust on my dial and the likes) and how unimportant all that is. We should be very thankful for what we have, especially our family and everybody's health. We just take all that too much for granted and it can change in a heartbeat. My gratitude goes out to all ER doctors and nurses out there as well (my dad was one of them for some very long years). It is a tough job.
