Sub 1680 just arrived (no cyclops)

I could not resist this beauty from forum friend Matt. I'm really liking it. No cyclops makes it look very Sea Dweller-esque.

So you're missing it that much, eh?

I traded away my super special red lumi Sub 1680 several months ago to Jason and I've been missing that vintage feel on my wrist. This one really scratches the itch nicely.

And I have to say that I have been enjoying it immensely.

Nice-looking 1680 though. Congrats

Quite the incestuous little community here... Maybe you all should just place your collections on "deposit" with a trusted Rolex AD and operate a "Rolex time share". You could pool your resources and get some really spectacular pieces. Set up as a time share, you would all own an undevided equal interest in every watch and be required to rotate watches on preset time intervals so everyone gets to wear everything.... The timeshare would also make sure the watches are insured and serviced correctly.

It's just a thought....

Spectacular watch btw....

Thanks everyone. I have been wearing this Sub non-stop for the past 4 days and I'm really liking it. Accuracy is amazing, unpolished case is thick, dial patina awesome and the clean superdome crystal so very nice. I really missed having a nice plexi Sub.
