I have a Rolex with "BREVET" stamped at 12 o'clock and the serial number
109887 stamped at the 6 o'clock lug...how do you get the date of manuf. from the ser. number?

This is what I have and could be wrong but i would guess between 1937-1938.
1936-81,000
1937-99000
1938-117000
1939-135000

Could be 1941 but as with everything Rolex, serial dating might possibly not be fully accurate and give it a a couple of years leeway.

+1, just realized that, wondering for what period watches had BREVET inscribed on them to pinpoint whether was from end 30"s-40"s or from the 50"s?.
