What is the last serial number (letter) the sub 16610 came in?

Did they make "G" serial in the 16610?
If not what was the last letter they made in the old sub before they went ceramic?

I believe so but you`ll have to get confirmation from someone who has a G sub.

I am looking to purchase a 16610 in the next few months and I want to get the last ones before they went ceramic..

I had one more question did the GMT ever have the serial number and rolex rolex on it before it went ceramic?

I don't believe they had a G for the 16610. I've seen random but I'm sure someone will chime in shortly.

Please note that the G and random came out at the same time.

16710 did not have the rehaut before it went Ceramic.

I'm fairly certain V was the final designation for the 16610. But I've been wrong two other times in my life...

From my understanding V was the last serial number before going ceramic.

I think there is G serial number.

I thought my V was the last but apparently not!

If you are looking for a 16610 and managed to find a G serial, you should grab it.

Is this the same case as with the M vs V serial Seadweller? According to one AD i visited, many thought the M serial was the last.

I have a serial starting in "G" on my Sub-C if that helps any. I don't know if the "G" is a coincidence and it's considered a "random", but yeah.

The only difference in any 16610 since its introduction in 1988/9 is hardly worth a mention.Around 1998 the change from Tritium to Luminover dial lume around 2000 IMHO the best introduction of the SEL bracelet. Then the mostly cosmetic changes like the LEC in the crystal if you can find it around 2001.Next end of the Y case stamps 2002/3 we had introduction of non lug hole cases.Around 2004 F/D on some models the Rolex Rolex Rolex on the Rehaut ring if you like all the branding thing, and thats about it except for the case stamps. What this means you could buy any 16610 sub and as long as its been serviced there is no reason why it should not last and perform as long as any 16610 no matter what the case stamp.

Have you had the back off to check it has a Parachrom hairspring, not that it will make much difference whether it has or not.
