Incoming....16800 Sub

I spend almost three months researching stainless steel Rolex watches, primarily GMTII's and Submariners. Enough talk, enough asking questions, enough obsessing about non-Rolex homages- I now have a daily wearer Sub, the iphone photo's aren't great, but the watch is just back from a full Rolex service, it looks brand new. The paper receipts are in the safe, but here are the watch photo's:

16800 was my first Sub with date in the 80's. Regret flipping it for a 16610.

Very nice choice, boarderline vintage/modern. Congrats, hope you "love it long time".

Thanks, I plan to keep it as a daily wearer, as it looks new to me. They also had a very nice 16610- I was really sold on the yellowish pearl color and slightly faded hour markers- yup, that's what did it for me...

Congratulations! What a beautiful Submariner! It looks like it has some nice patina! Enjoy it, it's probably worth every penny!

thanks...

Thanks man, you, and the others have given some great advice. I paid cash, under $4k US dollars- the kicker was the recent documented Rolex service, warranty, and a store that's been selling Rolex watches for 30 years- they said If I changed my mind they would give me a full refund, but that's not happening....

They got this watch in the store this week, I'm glad I jumped on it...

I no longer want to wear my Timex, Tag, , other ETA watches... I just want to to find another Rolex that Like as much...
