7836 Bracelet Question
I located a bracelet, 7836, but the clasp code dated it to 1990 (O9) . It had 593 end links attached to it, connected to a late 60's GMT.
My Question, when were the 7836's discontinued, and wasn't there some point in time in the 80's they quit doing clasp codes? Pete |

I think the 7836 was discontinued at the same time as the 9315, in the mid sevenths. As the where almost the same, besides clasp I am not mistaken.
I have seen clasp code up to 2007 (i have´t look at newer). The end links are for a 78360/91350 bracelet. |

Clasp codes have never stopped. That bracelet was discontinued in the mid 70s with the launch of the solid link bracelet 78360. That seems to be a 'put together' bracelet or perhaps the original owner changed the clasp at some point without getting it from the RSC marked as a service clasp.
